Police have driven off Patrick Oboi Amuriat, presidential candidate for the fdc to Kyambogo University for nomination while dressed in bare feet.

Amuriat was earlier arrested by police at party headquarters in Najjanankumbi Kampala as the party prepared to escort him to the nomination centre.
The fdc reported that he has been kidnapped but he was later announced to have arrived at Kyambogo.
Its not yet clear on how he will be nominated since he has travelled without his required documents.
