MPIGI: The Buhweju county county member of parliament also trade and industry shadow minister, Francis Mwijukye, has narrowly escaped death after a car inwhich he was travelling got involved in a road accident.
The accident occured at Buwama Mpigi along Mpigi-Kampala highway. But he survived without injuries.
Mwijukye was returning from his country home in Buhweju district where he had been on a parliamentary recess to monitor the performance of Emyooga project.
He was earlier on Sunday hosted on 100.2FM Radio West, weekly political talkshow; ‘Manya ebirikufa Omu Ihanga ryawe,’ from 10:09AM to 12:00PM, whereafter he drove to Kampala.
This is a second time MP Mwijukye survives an accident while from this talkshow on Radio West Mbarara, the first time being on 24th May, 2020 when he and the Isingiro North MP Charles Ngabirano got involved in an accident at Agip Motel in Mbarara city.
The duo were from attending a talkshow on Radio west when a Toyota Wish Vehicle registration number UBE rammed into Hon Mwijukye’s car and destroyed the car guards. They both survived without injuries.
