A retired teacher in Bushenyi district South western region of Uganda was on Friday found lying lifeless over an alleged alcoholism.

The deceased  is identified as Tr. Milton Nuwagaba, a teacher turned businessman dealing in buying and selling of scrap materials and a resident of Bwera parish Kyeizooba sub county in Bushenyi district.

The greater Bushenyi police spokesperson ASP Martial Tumusiime told this reporter that the  deceased body was found lying by the roadside in Katungu cell Central Division in Bushenyi Town.

ASP Tumusiime said police arrived at the scene of the incident after a tip off from the residents. He added that the body had no injuries attributing the death to alcoholism.

Preliminary reports indicates that Nuwagaba is a habitual drunkard something that must have caused his death.
