Katumba Fred of FK Promotions is wanted by Police for using Munamasaka Nsereko Emma’s name to steal millions of money from NRM supporters and making empty promises to take them to President Museveni.
Katumba of FK Promotions was chased from Museveni Awooma team immediately after the Museveni Awooma concert on alleged issues of also soliciting noney from a local musician who he had promised to perform infront of President Museveni on September 16th, 2023 at Kololo.
Katumba who is wanted by Uganda Police on a case reported at Jinja Road police station on a reference number SD REF NO: 37/16/11/023 for stealing money using the names of Emma Nsereko Munamasaka and also president Museveni.
According to one of the complainants Luswata Aloysius , Katumba requested him Shs2m with a promise to meet President Museveni.
Luswata added that, “Katumba told them as Munamasaka was looking for people to take to President and if he wants he should pay something to be added on the list. After waiting for weeks without the promise getting full filled, Luswata noticed that he may have been dealing with a wrong person then He looked for Munamasaka to clarify on that.
When asked to comment about her the allegations, Nsereko Emma Munamasaka distanced him self from Soliciting Money to anyone with a aim of meeting the president. He has added that it’s not right for anyone to use his name to Steal people and advised the public to report anyone who request for money.
President is for us all no one should request money promising to take them to President it’s wrong and I don’t associate my self with it ..I therefore call upon everyone who has given Katumba Money using my name to come out and report him to any police so as he pays people who he has stolen from.
Munamasaka called upon everyone to join him at the Museveni Awooma extra concert at Nabweru Play ground on 15th December 2023 starting at 10am
