The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party has announced that their party Electoral Commission Secretary, Augustine Ojobile is under arrest.
According to insiders, Ojobile a reknown city revolutionary youth was arrested by armed men donned in plain clothes at his residence in Kasubi, a Kampala suburb.
“The regime ha started arresting our staff. This morning plain clothes men arrested Mr Augustine Ojobile our EC secretary and acting Chief Administrative Officer at his home in Kasubi,” the party said.
He (Ojobile) was then forced into a waiting car which drove away to yet unknown detention.
FDC says they are working tooth and nail to find Ojobile’s whereabouts.
“We are going to find the reason for his arrest and his whereabouts,” the party said on Social media.
