Police in Kagadi district is holding a teenager suspect for allegedly killing his biological brother over 1,000 shillings.
The suspect is Oscar Busingye, 18yrs, he allegedly killed Moses Bizigo, 30 years, both residents of Mukumbwa East, Mukumbwa ward Mabare town council in Kagadi district.
According to Godfrey Byahuma, the deceased father said the duo were playing cards (matatu gambling) in Mukumbwa trading centre where they developed a misunderstanding over 1,000 shillings prompting into a brawl.
He said, the suspect (Busingye) out of 6tempers picked a knife and stabbed his brother several times in the chest who died on spot.
“He stabbed him two times in the heart, when we asked him the cause of the fight and reasons to kill his brother, he said he had no any reasons. I think his heart wanted to kill,” Byahuma said.
ASP Moses Muziima Kiconco, the Kagadi District Police Commander has condemned the stressing incident and confirming that the suspect has been arrested to help police on investigation.
“We have in our custody one suspect, Oscar Busingye who stabbed his brother in a brawl under unclear circumstances. He is already in our hands and efforts to carry out thorough investigations are underway,” ASP Muziima said.
