KIBOGA
A senior three student in Kiboga district has died in alleged suicide by drowning.
Priscilla Nanyonjo, 15, a Senior Three student at Bukomero Secondary School and daughter of Nalugwa Fatuma reportedly drowned herself in a neighbour’s dam in what authorities suspect was a suicide incident.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Temanakali Village in Bukomero Sub-county, Kiboga District.
Wamala Regional Police spokesperson SSP Lameck Kigozi confirmed the reports, noting that police still investigating the matter.
Body was handed over to family for burial arrangements.
