BUJUMBURA
Burundi’s Minister of Communication, Gabby Bugaga, has been found dead inside his vehicle, local media reported.
According to reports, Bugaga’s body was discovered inside his car F 6525A Hilux in a palm plantation in Kivoga in the Capital Bujumbura on April 16 at around 8:36 a.m.
Circumstances sorrounding his mysterious death remain unclear, but authorities say investigations are underway.
“Police cordoned off the scene shortly after the discovery, as forensic officers began preliminary examinations to establish the circumstances surrounding his death,” national Television, RTNB reported.
No arrests or suspects have been announced. Investigations remain ongoing.
