Lira school of comprehensive nursing has registered a stride in the number of female students graduating at the campus.
This was after a total of 457 females graduated during the institution’s 5th graduation ceremony held at the Lira city based institution on Friday
Of the total of 732 graduates, only 275 were males relatively half the number of female graduates.
Graduates received academic awards at certificate and diploma levels.
Ketty Lamaro, the Permanent Secretary ministry of education and sports was the chief guest at the function. She congratulated the graduands and pledged that the line ministry will endeavor to get solutions to the challenges faced by the institution.
“I have confidence that you are joining the rest of this country in medical service delivery to the citizens.”
The Principal Education Officer for Lira City, Dr.Jasper Abura commended the institution for its academic potentials, discipline which makes it produce responsible and quality students to the nation.
He implored graduates to serve with honesty, confidentiality to save human life
