Hundreds and thousand of mourners have thronged Rushoozi village in Kashaka Mbarara to bid farewell to fallen Bushenyi journalist, King Allan Mandela who was murdered by a girlfriend on Friday.
King Allan, a celebrated Sports commentator on Hunter FM, western Uganda was yesterday found laying dead in his bed in Rwentuha Bushenyi by the neighbors.
Police visited the scene of the crime and later established that the deceased was murdered by his girlfriend a one Loyce Tihainomwangire Mbiine, a receptionist and Presenter at BFM Radio in Bushenyi.
His body was laid to rest today in Rushoozi Village, Kashaka Mbarara district amidst tears.
Addressing mourners, Rodgers Akandwanaho Apuuli alias Enganjani, Hunter FM Station Manager eulogized King Allan as one of the industrious workers the station has had.
He confirmed to reports that his employee was murdered and assured the bereaved that police was already executing its duties to ensure justice for King Allan prevails.
Enganjani further hailed western Uganda media fraternity for the solidarity exhibited from the time when blacksmith news of Mandela’s death was announced.

Geoffrey Mucunguzi, the Kamwengye district Resident District Commissioner applauded Bushenyi district territorial police and other security agencies for their quick intervention shortly after they were notified of the incident.
In her eulogy, the deceased mother told mourners that his son was one of the members whom the family depended on for survival. She called for social justice for the family.
Loyce Tihainomwangire, the suspect behind the death of King Allan is currently being detained at Bushenyi Central Police Station awaiting to be produced to court on murder charges.
