Museveni, COVID-19 taskforce meet to decide on schools reopening

The COVID-19 National taskforce is determined to meet President Museviseni to decide on the proposal to reopen schools.

This follows another meeting on Tuesday inwhich the taskforce technocrats recommended for the reopening of tertiary institutions in November as secondaryand primary schools wait until the vaccination of the target group is done.

In a meeting chaired by the prime minister at state house in Entebbe, the technocrats advised that schools be reopened in a phased manner starting with education institutions.

The ministry of education mouthpiece, Dennis Mugimba has told Parrots UG that the final decision shall be taken by the president today.
