Vipers Sporting Club Goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora has signed a new three-year contract, keeping him at St Mary’s Stadium-Kitende until 2023.
The 22-year old Burundian has helped Vipers win the Uganda Premier League trophy last season since he joined the venoms from Burundi outfit Lydia Ludic Académic FC in August 2018. Mutombora also played a key role as Vipers procured the Pilsener Super 8 trophy.
“I have achieved what have achieved here and I hope I can keep on learning, helping the team and lifting trophies over the next three years.”

The club has also confirmed the departure of the midfielder Rahman Ssenfuka after playing for two seasons.

Rahmat joined the Venoms from Police FC in June 2018 and during his time at the club, he has triumphed the Pilsner Super 8 trophy, checked in quarterfinals of the Cecafa Kagame cup on his debut in 2018. He was also among the players that won the Uganda Premier League last season.
