On Wednesday, Police and the army raided different parts of the city including the NUP offices and atleast 132 suspects were arrested and are facing charges of illegal possession of government stores.

According to updf, these were found with materials ordinarily meant for the forces like red Barretts, engraved military stones etcetera.

In similar news, dozens of people including traders who were arrested during Wednesday’s raid in Kampala and Kamwokya for wearing, selling and manufacturing red berets, red T.shirts and posters have been arraigned before Buganda road court which remanded them to Kitalya government prison until October 23.
