Police in Bushenyi is holding one suspect for the alleged murder of Susan Kyatuhaire, 23, a final year Education student at Valley University.
Kyatuhaire was last night found dead on her doorway by the neighbours who informed police. She was according to reports last seen in Bushenyi town at around 8pm in a downpour.
“At around 2300hrs, neighbours found her shoes and keys at the gate. As the neighbors looked around, they found her dead body at the veranda while naked. A report was made at Bushenyi Police station,” SP Tumusiime Martial, the Greater Bushenyi region police spokesperson told reports
Police visited the scene of crime and by the help of a canine dog, they managed to arrest one person a prime suspect in this murder.
SP Tumusiime confirmed this arrest but did not disclose the identity of the suspect for purposes of investigations
“Dog track was used and we arrested one suspect to help police in investigations,” he said
The body of the deceased was taken to KIU teaching hospital for a postmortem and she will be buried at her ancestral home in Ntungamo district tomorrow Friday 11th November, 2022
