From adbuction , prolonged detentions to human torture inside military cells, James Mubiru, the Lord councilor for Rubaga III at City Hall suffered prolonged illnesses that seen him admitted at Lubaga hospital, Mulago hospital and Agha Khan hospital in Nairobi.

The honourable who is battling pancreatic and liver complications obtained as the result of human torture while in the arms of the security personnel who had arrested him for cladding in the People Power Red beret, was recently discharged from a hospital in Nairobi and sked to seek for further treatment from more specialized hospitals in the US, UK, India or Germany.

He returned to Uganda as a poor man given the long period of non-productive work both in prison and on admission.

“I came back in Uganda after being discharged from Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi. At the moment am under medication I got from aga khan hospital until I get $25000 (about Shs88 million) for further abroad treatment.” he said

Mubiru now is seeking  for financial support to enable him receive specialized treatment in US.
