In a bid to encourage and promote wealth creation, president Yoweri Museveni through his office of national chairman of NRM has distributed chicks and all required feeds the Coordinators at his offices in Kyambogo.
Hajjat Namyalo the head of national chairman during the handover urged coordinators to be exemplary through engaging in poultry while spreading the government message of wealth creation. Wealth creation through commercial farming,poultry and industrialisation have been strongly emphasized by president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to uplift Ugandans from poverty .
Namyalo said that for the coordinators to spread the message of wealth creation among Ugandans they should be practically involved in order to be able to teach others what they practice.She urged coordinators not to sale the chicks but rather use them to economically improve their livelihoods and become good examples to the communities they live in .
Every coordinator received 120 chicks and poultry feeds. Beneficiaries applauded president Museveni for his continued support for changing individual livelihoods and household income through poverty alleviation programs.
