In sight of the rapidly increasing cost of living in the country and the devastating famine in North Eastern Uganda, the State House spokesperson, Linda Nabusaayi says the president will address the nation next week on Wednesday, July 20th.
She says that the address will start at 8pm and will air on all radios and TVs.
The president’s address comes at a time Ugandans are grappling with increasing cost of living marked by rising prices of fuel, transport and basic commodities like food, soap and clothing.
The address also comes at a time the people in the Karamoja sub region are struggling with food insecurity that has seen over 40 people starve to death.
