University of St. Joseph’s Mbarara female student has died after she collapsed in her hostel.
Fortunate Kyarisiima, a third year undergraduate student of Bachelor’s of Business Administration reportedly collapsed at her hostel along Mbarara- Isingiro road.
The incident happened today,15 February, 2024, in the evening, according to sources.
She was rushed to Mbarara University hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.
Kyarisiima, is a resident of Ishongororo in Ibanda district. The cause of her death is still unknown.
Her death has caused grief to the university community that is preparing for 3rd Graduation Ceremony due on Saturday 17th February, 2024, at the university grounds, Nyamitanga Hill, Nyamitanga division in Mbarara city.
Kyarisiima’s body was taken to Mbarara referral hospital mortuary for a postmortem. May Her Soul Rest In Peace 🕊️
