The startimes Uganda premier League match day 1 action will be on today as the Lugogo based Police FC will be taking on Kitende’s Vipers SC.
In their recent fixture, Police FC lost to the Venoms (2-0) in the Uganda Cup semi final that was played at the FUFA technical Center Njeru.
Both teams are expected to display the best quality of the game as they aim to take the top spot of the league table.
“The team is geared up towards starting and going to put up a good show to out compete our opponents,” Abdallah Mubiru Police FC head coach.
Bobosi Byaruhanga, Manzoki and Ssentamu are key players to watch from the Venoms side whereas Tonny Mawejje and Tom Ikara are critical for the cops side.
In other games, KCCA FC will be hosted by Wakiso Giants at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium Wakiso.
Meanwhile the Busoga derby will be on at the Kyabazinga stadium as debutants Gaddafi FC will be hosting Busoga United.
