Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will release outcomes of the 2023, Primary Leaving Examination next week on Thursday, education ministry reported.
In a January 17, 2024, internal memo signed by Irene Kauffman, referencing a previous memo of January 12, 2024, Kauffman is quoted inviting ministry officials to attend briefing and release of the 2023 PLE results at State House Nakasero.
According to Ms. Kauffman, the senior private secretary to the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni said in a memo that the UNEB ill hold briefing on the 2023 PLE results on Wednesday, January 24, and then the official release of the results on Thursday, January 25, at State House Nakasero.
A total of 749,347 candidates including 391,558 females (app.52%) and 357,789 (48%) from 14,442 male candidates examination centres sat for their PLE on 8th and 9th November, 2023 across the country, according to data from UNEB on PLE 2023 candidates’ registration
