BUSHENYI
A 28 year- old, Julian Bride, a businesswoman from Bushenyi, who was attacked with acid last week has succumbed to injuries.
Bride died on Thursday morning at Mulago hospital where she has been receiving treatments.
On September 14, unknown people attacked Bride with acid while she attended her boutique shop in Bushenyi along Bushenyi-Kasese road.
Benon Kivegyere, the OC CID police Bushenyi told reports that the victim was first rushed to BMC for first aid and later transferred to Mbarara region referral hospital.
She was later transferred to Mulago where she has died a week later.
By press time, the attackers had not been arrested and police is still investigating the matter.
