Buganda road court has sent to remand a 27-year-old female, Teddy Nalubowa on charges related to celebrating the death of General Elly Tumwine.

Nalubowa, allegedly shared a video of herself on her Tik Tok and Facebook pages celebrating the general’s demise, she was later arrested by security operatives.
On Friday 9th September, 2022, she was arraigned before court however, she told the Buganda road court presided over by Grade one magistrate Marion Mangeni that whatever information she posted on her tik -tok and Facebook accounts, she was under the influence of alcohol and cannot remember it.
Magistrate Mangeni then remanded Naluboowa to Luzira prison until the 26th September when she will return to court.
