Rev Fr. Mugabe Cleophus made this call while celebrating Christmas mass at Katojo Sub parish in Nyakibale Deanary, Kabale diocese, Mbarara Archdiocese.
Fr. Cleophus advised wives to start smiling practices if they still find it hard to smile for their husbands by laughing at themselves through a dressing mirror to master the art of smiling to avoid looking at their husbands like soldiers on the front line.”wear the same smiles like I see in church always” said Fr. Cleophus.
Fr. Cleophus also advised children to take care of their parents in the evening hours of their life, because they toiled to give them education that is now keeping them busy not to know what is happening in their lives.
Fr. Also advised wives to always remind their husbands who only think about their inlaws forgetting their own parents and always remember their poor background.
Fr. Cleophus said you can’t be a Christian when you are not taking care of your parents as they struggle to put food on table in their old age. This deprives you of blessings instead you are gathering curses.
In the same Mass Mr. Nshoborokirwe Anthony who is the chairman Katojo Sub parish church thanked the church choir that emerged the best in the recently concluded parish Christmas carols competitions that were held at Nyakibale Deanary.
He called up on Christians to give all the necessary support as they prepare for the Parish status that is already in the pipeline.
Mr. Nshoborokirwe introduced some of the ongoing projects that are aimed at attaining the parish status as the diocese demands, one being the priest’s house that is still on the foundation level and renovation of offices.
