Uganda People’s Congress party has asked Ugandans to turn up in large numbers to receive the party president, Hon. Jimmy Akena in their areas.
Few days ago, Hon. Akena held a massive mobilization rally in Amolator district where he launched his presidential bid for the 2026 general elections. The mobilization tour in Amolatar was concluded on November 4.
The party spokesperson, Sharon Oyat Arach says the mobilization campaigns are aimed to preparing for the 2026 general elections.
“Those mobilization tours are informing people the task that lies ahead of us as well as amplifying our mobilization efforts in readiness for 2025/26 general elections which calla for members to execute their duties appropriately,” Arach explained.
She appeal to goodwill citizens of Uganda to welcome the party president wherever he is going to visit.
UPC nationwide tours continues to other parts of the country on a date to be communicated by the party.
