KAMPALA
A devastating accident claimed the life of Gariyo Gibiso, a student at Metropolitan International University (MIU), pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT).
According to reports, the incident occurred in Mukono early morning. Gariyo, who was identified as 24-year-old student bearing registration number BIT/286/UMC, leaves behind a grieving family, friends, and university community.
The university administration has expressed condolences to Gariyo’s family and loved ones. An investigation into the accident’s cause is underway.

Gariyo’s untimely death adds to the growing toll of lives lost to road accidents in Uganda.
