The twice announced dead and twice resurrecting Second Deputy Prime Minister, Ali Kirunda Kivejinja has finally breathed his last! MHSRIP.

According to reports, Kivejinja has died at Mulago hospital where he has been admitted undergoing treatments.

ParrotsUg learned that Kivejinja, died Saturday evening at around 5:20pm at Mulago hospital where he has been under care.

He has succumbed to the deadly corona virus which has claimed many lives in the country.

The office of the Prime Minister, confirmed to media that Kivejinja has passed on.

“We shall release a statement shortly,” said Prime Minister’s office told Nile Post

On Saturday last week, social media and blogs announced the minister’s death, government later trashed reports. This was the second time the minister was announced dead and alive.

Born on June12, 1935, Kivejinja has died at the age of 85yrs, and is among the longest serving officials in the Ugandan government.

He is a veteran Ugandan politician and senior presidential advisor currently serving as the Second Deputy Prime Minister.
