At least two people have narrowly survived death after a Fuso truck inwhich they were travelling overturned at Katarimwa road in Ishaka.
The accident occurred on Tuesday at around 3PM at Katarimwa road along Ishaka-Bushenyi-Kasese highway after a truck Registration Number UAT 517A overturned leaving two occupants including the driver and his turnboy injured.
The driver has been identified as Turanzyomwe Christopher and his turnboy has only been identified as Richard commonly known as Kitabe. They both sustained minor injuries.
It is reported that the the vehicle was transporting coffee from Ishaka to kampala when it got involved in an accident.
Eye witnesses who spoke to Parrots UG blamed the accident on the poor state of the road. They say that the road has many potholes which makes it impassable to road users.
Brave Tumuranzye, the driver’s son told this reporter that both his Dad and the turn boy are in conditions. He however said the turnboy was rushed Ishaka Adventist hospital for first aid treatments.
