SHEEMA: Police in Sheema district south western Uganda is holding three suspects on allegations of murder of a husband.
The trio alleged to have had a hand in tbe murder of Wilson Baturiine,50, a resident of Bugarama Kanyeganyegye Masheruka Town Council in Sheema district.
He was killed in the ewe morning hours of August 3 at around 1AM infront of his house by a yet to identify assailants.
The heartless killers beheaded Baturiine’s and divided his head into two parts, however, his wife who claim she did not hear her husband making an alarm said she was shocked in the morning to discover her husband laying a pool of blood.
Jovia Kariisa, mother to the deceased told this reporter that her son and his wife have been engaged in quarrel over land something she suspects may have caused her son’s death. The wife however dismissed the allegations.
ASP Akong Bibian, the OC CID Sheema Central Police Station has said they have arrested three suspects including a wife, 23-yr-old son whom they have been staying with and the bar owner where the deceased was drinking. She said that the trio are being detained at Sheema Central Police Station as investigations into the matter continue.
