Koukouras’s Villa was left frustrated as the Kongolo’s attacking game plan earned them a point in a rescheduled league match.
Villa took the lead in the 35th minute as Ogwang Isaac feasted on goalie Rogers Omedwa’s poor pick up to break the deadlock.
Four minutes later, Nicholas Kabonge doubled the Jogoos’ lead through a well delivered cross from winger Sadam Masereka.
Seconds to the half time mark, Alfred Leku’s tap in reduced the Kongolo’s deficit to 2-1.
In the second half of the game, the Kongolos’ attacking line was immeasurably better in pressing as they struggled to breakdown the Villa defence.
Substitute Innocent Media had chance to redeem his side in the 80th minute after Villa’s Salim Abdullah missed to clear the ball making it 2-2.
Arua huffed and puffed but couldn’t find a winner as Atendele delivered a long free kick to goal scorer Innocent whose efforts were saved by Villa’s goalie Meddie.
Arua Hill stays in the seventh position with 15 points as Villa lags in the twelfth position 3 points above the relegation zone.
