Police in Bushenyi are stranted with a 4-months-old baby boy who was allegedly abandoned by his mother on the roadside.
SP Andrew Martial, the greater Bushenyi police PR said the baby was abandoned by a yet to identify person along Kibaare – Nyakabirizi road in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
The baby was according to SP Martial picked by good Samaritans who took him to Nyakabirizi police station.
He added that a police file case of an abandoned child has been opened meanwhile as police launches manhunts of the child’s parents.
He asked any member of the public who may be having information on the parents of the child or any case of a missing child to report to authorities and help police to conduct investigations.
