Over the weekend, city tycoon Sir Gordon Wavamuno became a subscribing member of the Ambrosoli Think Tank community. This happened during a one day trip of the Ambrosoli Think Tank members to Mr Wavamuno’s mixed farm which also houses wava factory for Wava mineral water in Nakwero.
The members were toured around the farm, factory, museum where they obtained knowledge and skills about poultry, goat keeping, cattle keeping, donkey keeping, art and culture preservation among others.
Prof. Wavamuno welcomed and interacted with might Ambrosoli Think Tank members throughout the time and also offered lunch to them.
The members that attended included the former chancellor of Bishop stuart University, Prof Maud kamatenesi, Prof Kosea Byamugisha from Makerere University, and Dr.Mugisha.
The Think Tank is an initiative of the Ambrosoli consult limited, a training and public education organisation registered and recognised by the government of Uganda.
The consultancy’s mission involves; contributing to the alleviate of poverty and diseases within the communities by investing research, training empowerment and strengthening the social economic spheres of the community.
Members during the Think Tank discussions which meet every week on Wednesday afternoon at Serena Hotel Kampala are introduced to various topics with expertise talks about social, economic and political issues in the country.
In line with their mission, they over the weekend spent the whole day on Saturday 17th February, 2024, at the mixed farm of Prof. Wavamuno learning, unlearning and relearning about modern agriculture, retirement planning among other activities.
