A driver attached to Khan, a logistics company, was shot dead on the evening of Eid al Fitr day after the killer suspected him of having a secret marital affair with his wife.
The Uganda Police Force deputy police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police ASP Luke Owoyesigyire said the incident happened last evening, Wednesday 10th April, 2024, in Kyebando Kisalosalo at around 7:30pm.
It is alleged that the deceased, Adaca Sabina also known as Alele Francis 36, a driver at Khan logistics company and resident of Kyebando, Kisalosalo zone.
He was attacked by a one Achol, a security guard at SGA and resident of the same area who shot him in the chest while he was talking on a phone.
Achol (suspect) took on heels with the gun immediately after commiting the stressful act.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased has been engaged in a secret love affair with the suspect’s wife which is suspected to have caused the shooting.
Police said they are working tooth and nail to apprehend Achol and get him charged according to the laws.
