Uganda’s most successful football club and Uganda Premier League (UPL) reigning champions, SC Villa has today Saturday 27th July 2024 parted ways with head coach Dusan Stojanovic despite him guiding the Jogoos to their 17th UPL title.
Dusan’s departure was confirmed in a document from William Nkemba the club Chief Executive Officer.
“SC Villa has today mutually parted ways with head coach Dusan Stojanovic. Dusan leaves with our sincerest appreciation for steering the club through a very tough season to its 17th league championship. The club wishes him well in his next endeavors and thanks him for his service,” Nkemba wrote.
He added that Coach Morley Byekwaso immediately takes over as the interim head coach.
The Serbian tactician was unveiled on 13th June 2023 on a two year deal which has been cut short of 11 months.
