A 24-year-old man in Kakumiro has died after evil spirits tempted him to commit suicide.
Robert Asaba, a resident of Kasambya LCI in Katikara Sub County Kakumiro District was on Sunday morning at around 10am found hanging in a mango tree in his parents compound.
It is alleged that he has always been attacked by demonic spirits and that he has severally threatened to cut short his life.
Before the tragedy, the deceased asked his mother (identity withheld) to take care of his children.
The Kasambya LC1 Chairperson John Ssebaka, has described a good and humble resident who didn’t have any bad track of records in the area questioning what could have caused him commit suicide.
Everest Kabagambe the Katikara sub county LCIII chairperson urged locals to always consult friends for advice before taking such terrible decisions.
The deceased survived with four children and wife.
