The body of Bukedde TV journalist, Joseph Baguma Bagomezi aka Degao, who collapsed dead in Christmas Eve will be laid to rest tomorrow, Wednesday December 27, 2023.
Baguma reportedly collapsed and died at his home on December 24th hours to Christmas Day Celebrations. It’s is alleged that he succumbed to cardiovascular disease although a postmortem report of his death remains undisclosed.
His body arrived at his father’s home, Merickzedec Kanaginagi Ateenyi in Bokwe, Pakanyi subcounty, Masindi district today at 3:46am amid outpouring grief, where he will be laid to rest tomorrow.
Baguma, was an enterprising journalist and correspondent of Bukedde in Masindi , Bunyoro sub-region. He has also been Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) coordinator in greater Masindi and the treasurer of Greater Masindi Media Practitioners Association (GMEPA).
He becomes a second journalist to pass on in Bunyoro region in a period of less than a fortnight following the death of popular sports journalist, Thiery Adolf da Typical(December 12), former sports commentator at 93.0FM Kings Broadcasting Services (K S) based in Kagadi district, Bunyoro.
