Today the FDC secretary general Hon. Nandala Mafabi has directed all old district chairpersons for FDC to handover stamps and offices to the new FDC district chairpersons that were recently elected amidst confusion in the party.
Nandala has also directed all the office bearers in the districts that have not yet elected new office bearers to also handover their stamps to the secretary general’s office at the FDC headquarters in Najanankumbi before before Friday 17th November, 2023. He warned those that may not respond to the directive that they will be holding the party symbols illegally and will be charged legally. He therefore requested the responsible individuals to comply to avoid embarasment.
FDC held her elections on 7th October,2023 where Oboi Amuriat was re elected for a second term as President of the Forum for Democatic Change(FDC) with 800 votes, beating Moses Byamugisha who only managed to get 187 votes.
At the elections of the National Executive Committee (NEC) at Lugogo had Nathan Nandala Mafabi re elected as the Secretary General of the party after he went through unopposed.
