Police in Kampala have foiled an attempted armed robbery at Stanbic Bank, Acacia Mall branch in Kololo, this evening.
According to Uganda Police, the suspects, Five in numbers were on the police watchlist.
Police immediately responded to the scene and four suspects were shot dead, while the fifth suspect is in critical conditions.
“A fifth suspect is in critical condition,” Police said in a statement.
Bodies have been taken to city mortuary Mulago, and investigations into the incident have started.
Police alleged that the suspects are linked to a series of robberies in Kampala Metropolitan area.
