An average aged man has been stabbed to death in a knife attack by a congolese national refugee in Kampala.
The horrible incident occurred earlier today in Kisenyi Town Kampala.
Its understood that the victim identified as Kasanavo had gone to a restaurant where his fellow known as Inyati Mulaga Claudia works and grabbed a piece of soap something which irritated Mulaga.
A scufflethen gripped prompting him (Mulaga) to pick a sharp knife and stabbed Kasanavo who died instantly.
Mulaga was by arrested by the members of the community who handed him over to authorities.
The Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson SP Patrick Onyango said police arrived at the crime scene and two knives with suspected blood stains were detected from the scene to aid police in investigations.
He adds that Kasanavo’s body was rushed to Mulago hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
The suspect is being detained at Old Kampala Police station on murder charges.
Onyango appealed to the public not to use violent means in resolving issues.
“We appeal to community not to resolve issues through violence but seek amicable methods,” he added.
