Kira District Police Commander SP Mathias Turyasingura has reportedly succumbed to the deadly corona virus disease.
A source who talked to this website on conditions of anonymity said Turyasingura passed on at Mulago Hospital where he been admittedfor days.
“He has been a down to earth officer. He joined the force in 2007 Police intake when Gen Kale Kayihura was the Inspector General of Police. He trained from Kabalye when Afande Kaweesi was the Commandant,” a source revealed.
The deceased did an intermediate course at Kaweweta ,where he completed a senior command and staff course before he was posted as DPC Kira road.
