ARUA:
Leku Alfred’s fine tap saw Arua Hill SC come from 2-1 down at half time to produce an awesome second half comeback to save the Kongolos from a consecutive loss in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL).
The Arua based club lost their previous SUPL game to Mbarara City FC (2-1). In the first half of the match, pressure seemed to be mounting as goals from Kabon Living and Cromwel Rwothomio saw the Tax collectors take a 2-0 lead before Ssekamate Samuel netted a free kick to give the Kongolos a consolation goal.
Three minutes into the second half of the game, Arua Hill was awarded with a penalty and Ssekamate netted home to level the scores (2-2) before Leku netted the days decider.
10 minutes to full-time, winning goal scorer Leku Alfred was awarded a red card after receiving a second yellow card for a challenge on URA’s Derrick Ndahiro.
Arua Hill SC who sat bottom in the first 42 minutes of the game saw victory at full-time (3-2) and this gives them a welcome boost into the SUPL with 7points out of the possible 12 points.
