Makerere University fourth year student commits suicide after making social media posts asking followers to help her choose life or death
On Sunday June 6th, the deceased identified as Natasha Byengyeru, a student at the school of law shared posts on her personal Instagram and Twitter accounts asking her followers to help her choose life or death.
Hours later, she was found dead in her hostel room in a suspected suicide. Natasha who was in her final academic year was set to graduate this year.
According to her social media friends, Natasha has been for long fighting depression however they do not reveal exactly what got her depressed.
On Monday June 7th, there was a requim mass at her parents home in Butabika and earlier today, her remains were transported to her ancestral home in Lyantonde district off Kaguta road where she will be laid to rest later on Wednesday June 9th.
