Former Ryakahimbi Catholic Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Gervase Mugabi aka Kagame has passed away.
He died at St. Francis hospital Nsambya in Kampala where he has been on admission since April 21.
Fr. Kagame as popularly known hails from Kashekuuro catholic parish in Buyanza, Kyeizooba subcounty Bushenyi. He was a resident priest at Mushanga parish by the time of his death.
Fr. Mugabe also served at Rwera Parish as Parish Priest, Kitabi parish (Short time as Parish Priest, and Curate Uganda Martyrs, Parish Priest Ryakahimbi (Mitooma town).
He becomes a second priest from Mbarara Archdiocese to die in less than a month after the death of Rev. Fr. Godfrey Baruhahare who died on 16th April, 2024.
The cause of his death was uncertain and both his family and the Mbarara archdiocese administration were in collaboration for his send off preparations. May His Soul Rest In Peace.
