“Following your application to NCHE for affiliation wih TWU Canada, I have the pleasure to inform you that council at its 60th sitting of 14th June,2021, considered and resolved to that your request be granted,” read excerpts NCHE of the letter to the VC BSU. with TWU to run programmes.

According to a letter by NCH Executive Director Prof Mary J N Okwakol, BSU is required to make a statutory license fee of UShs 2 millions to NCHE for a certificate of affiliation.

By this affiliation, Parrots UG learned that BSU will be offering programmes online and face to face where students will be awarded TWU degrees.

In related news, National Council for Higher Education has further approved two (2) academic programmes for the affiliation at the university, and these are Master of Arts in Leadership and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership.

The programmes have been approved with a maximum number of 25 students to be admitted to each programme per Academic Year. The university can however admit more students upon seeking permission from NCHE.

NCHE has asked the university to observe the the requirements for rolling out academic programmes as outlined in the quality assurance capacity indicators.
