Notorious Kifeesi criminal gang leader Paddy Sserunjogi aka Ssobi has been killed in cold blood in a land wrangle.
According to reports, the city Kifeesi was killed by an angry mob in Kyamabale, Kigumba, Gomba district while he led a gang to fight for one of the parties in a square mile land dispute.
Two other people belonging to the Ssobi gang were critically injured in the fight.
For many years, Ssobi allegedly terrorized several parts of Kampala with his gang of about 30 to 50 men involving in different criminal activities like petty theft, robbery and murder.
Ssobi first seized the media spotlight in 2017 as a self-confessed leader of Kifeesi, a criminal gang, which terrorized Kampala then and three years later, he commanded a safe house on Lwamayuba island in Kalangala, that acted as a torture chamber for political prisoners.
He was subsequently taken on as an informer by the then Director General of Internal Security Organisation Col. Kaka Bagyenda.
He at a certain point told the media that he killed many people in Kampala during his robbery missions.
