Former People Power member, Bosmic Otim who dumped the party and joined NRM right before elections has survived death by serious beating after being reportedly caught redhanded stealing.
According to reports we received, Bosmic joined NRM party in exchange for a brand new Toyota Hilux vehicle but now things went bitter again and is very broke.
With no known source of income and a faded musical career on his shoulders, Otim’s future remains hanging in thin air.
Otim was returning from Pader district where he had gone to attend the vigil of fallen Deputy Inspector General of Police Maj. Gen Paul Lokech who passed on recently.
Otim’s trouble is said to have emanated from his failure to identify himself after being grilled by one of the chefs who found him red handed stealing offals. A crowd mobbed on him and thumped him to pulp. “He went to Museveni and got money last year. Why is he stealing our food,” one of the members of the mob shouted. “Let’s teach him a lesson that theft is not the solution,” added another
