The Government Chief Whip, Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa, also member of parliament for Ruhinda North county Mitooma district has confirmed to reports that his colleague, Rt Hon. John Baptist Nambeshe, the opposition Whip is in good health.
Nambeshe was on Saturday morning involved in an accident at Mbiko-Njeru road along Kampala-Mbale highway while he was going to his country home in Bududa district.
“Spoken to my colleague @JNambeshe he is very fine. We thank God for saving his life🙏🙏” Tayebwa said in a reply to Parrots UG online Newspaper tweet.
Nambeshe who confirmed to the news of his accident said he survived with no injuries.
“I was this early morning involved in a minor accident at Mbikko-Njeru Municipality on Kampala-Mbale highway while heading to my constituency of Manjiya in (Bududa district).”
“I survived without a single injury and my driver is also safe. We thank God for saving our lives.” Hon. Nambeshe posted on Twitter.
