Katwe police station last night conducted an intelligence led operation and arrested a number of criminal gangs who have been terrorising areas around Kampala and Wakiso.

According to Spokesperson police CID, Charles Twiine, the suspects are associated with very many ferocious crimes of Burglaries and robberies in the suburbs of Kampala.
The suspects whose identities had not been disclose for security reasons were found with security uniforms belonging to the updf, knives and several other exhibits.
They are currently being detained at Katwe police station awaiting to be produced to court.
