The old students who studied at Gayaza High School 46 years ago organized a reunion and reminisced the “good old school” spent at their alma mater.
The alumni class of 1974 were reunited to celebrates 50th Gold Jubilee in style as they dressed their typical school uniforms.

They shared experiences with each other from leading a professional life, social networking remembering those who are no longer with them.

Speaking at the reunion, Hon.Eng.Irene Nafuna Muloni, an alumna who also doubles as the Bulambuli District Woman Representative (DWR) in the 11th parliament implored continuing students to practice mindfulness in their academics.
“I appealed to the Girl-child to always be mindful about your future and consider Education as very important aspect adding that discipline is pivotal in every persons,” Eng. Muloni urged.
She was other senior members namely Hon Victoria Ssekitoleko Former Agriculture Minister, Hon Maria Kiwanuka, Former First Lady Miriam Obote among others held a Prayer Service at All Saints Church in Nakasero to praise God upon keeping them alive to this far ever since they left Gayaza

Gayaza High is one of the oldest All-girls Boarding secondary school having founded in 1905 .
Its one of those traditional schools in the country which have Nurtured Exceptional Ladies who have achieved remarkable success globally.
