Armed to the tooth UPDF and police have seized off Rubanda district Headquarters as Jogo Kenneth Biryabarema petitions NRM office challenging results in Rubanda East.
Jogo, district LCV Chairman earlier today has submitted in his petition challenging results for the concluded NRM parliamentary primary elections in which he lost to Henry Musasizi.
Jogo cites out violence, voter bribery as among other irregularities that were contained in electoral processes in Rubanda East.
According to the results released by the NRM Electoral Commission, Jogo Keneth Biryabarema was defeated by Henry Musasizi with 23,485 votes while he (Jogo) genred 22,165 votes but didn’t not concede defeat.
Anonymous sources have revealed to Parrotsug that Jogo wants party EC to nullify Musasizi’s victory and declare him a winner or order for a bye-election.
