At least six deacons have been ordained priests in Kabale Diocese on Saturday.
The ordination mass was celebrated at Rushoroza Cathedral the diocesan headquarters in Kabale district.
The six ordained priests are: Deogratius TubiheRuhanga of Rwanyena parish, Achilles Tumukurate of Rubanda parish, Deogratius Mwebembezi of Muko Parish, Augustine Tumusime of Sooko parish, Placid Mugumya of Nyarushanje parish and Vincent Turinawe of Maziba parish.
During the ceremony, Seven seminarians were ordained to Deaconate while Ten were ordained to Lector and Acolyte ministries.
Bishop Callist Rubaramira who was the main celebrant of the ordination mass asked the ordained priests to preach the gospel of peace and repentance.
Kabale diocese is under the ecclesiastical province of Mbarara Archdiocese.
The diocese covers districts of Kabale, Rukungiri,Rukiga, Rubanda, Kanungu and Kisoro.
